From the first inquiry until the time Nate and Deaion drove away, every aspect of the move made for a pleasant experience. Paul and Randy were professional, courteous and thorough in their explanation of services provided and the price quote. Nate and Deaion were timely, efficient and provided extra care in the handling of all items moved. Their personalities made a hot summer move day a great experience.

I was very disappointed that not all information about charges was disclosed up front - even though I asked. I was also not aware my items wouldn't be unloaded until I paid and an estimate would be used until the night before. Both of these things should be shared up front. I also received no form of confirmation for my move after I scheduled my move and a deposit was taken. I called repeatedly and received no information until 6:30 pm the night before my move.

This is a copy of the email that I sent to Kasey last week I was really disappointed with the move after having 2 men and a truck move me earlier. 2 men and a truck were dressed in uniform and carried 1 box at a time without damaging anything. I was promised professional movers from our phone call. The crew chief showed up with piercing all over his face with his drawers hanging out due to his pants hanging down to his behind. They carried 2-3 boxes labelled "fragile" at a time damaging the boxes. They broke 2 pieces of furniture, one of which was an antique rocker and my back door. The crew argued about "bringing a 4th person to move because their split would be less." That should not even been a conversation since a 4 man crew was ordered. We paid $300 more than we paid 2 men and a truck and got a lot less. But, to my main concern. The crew took off with 15 quilts that belong to 2 men and a truck. Everything from our apartment was packed, loaded, moved, and unloaded into appropriate rooms in less than 9 hours. My wife and I would not have been able to do that in 9 days. Worth every single penny we spent and the tip we gave the movers. We even bought them lunch. All absolutely worth it.

Our move was scheduled for 1-5, my husband stayed home all day anticipating that. We got a call into that time frame saying movers weren't going to make it until 7. We were frustrated with this b/c we arranged our day, but we probably missed some traffic. Movers that came were very unprofessional. 35 minutes after being at my house one guy went and sat in the truck to smoke a cigarette, had cell phone plugged in without asking permission. After the move the other guy gave my husband a survey to fill out and my husband asked if he could take it and fill it out with me (b/c i wasn't there) the guy snatched it out of my husbands hand and said 'it's not that serious man'. I was expecting a MUCH better experience based on my inital conversation with (Jennifer/Jessica). We were credited some time back for cigarette incident, but definitely not behavior I would expect from a moving company when I am paying by the minute. We were charged for tape, which I had, but when I asked why the charge I was told by Kasey that 'I should have told them I had the tape'. This is my first move with professional movers so maybe I just don't have enough experience, but a simple question during the paperwork process could have resolved this issue that I felt was sneaky. Also, driver ran into the call box as he was leaving the complex, didn't do a ton of damage to the box, but there is a scrape and i'm pretty sure it scraped up the side of the truck. Did not stop to check to see damage or see what he did. VERY, VERY dissapointed with my experience with All My Sons.

Overall my experience with your company was HORRIBLE. Your movers were over 6 hours late and your customer service representatives and supervisors seem indifferent to my incredibly negative experience with your company. I would NEVER recommend you, and in fact will be telling all my friends/relatives/acquaintances/anyone who will listen (in person, on social media, on yelp/yahoo/google/etc.) to avoid your company at all costs. I chose your moving company based on speaking with one of your representatives, who assured me that I would be "treated like family". I only had 48 hours to move (over the weekend), so I requested an early-morning moving time for Saturday (5/17). I received a call on Thursday (5/15) and was told I should expect the movers between 8 – 9:30 am, and they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. When I had not heard from anyone by 9:45 Saturday monring, I called the office and spoke to Casey. I was told that he was “just about to call [me]” because the truck was having an electrical/fuse issue and they were working on fixing it. I was told they should be out within the hour. Around 10:45, I received a call from the movers and was told they had fixed the issue and they were on their way. When I had not heard from anyone by 11:30 am, I called the office and was told (again!) that Casey was “just about to call [me]”. Apparently the truck had continued to have problems, so the movers had turned around and were going back to the main office to get a different vehicle. However, no one called to inform me of this. When I asked Casey when I could expect the movers, he said he could not give me a time but would call when the movers arrived, and call again when they left with the new truck. To compensate for the lateness, Casey offered to reduce the rate to $149/hr (from $159/hr) and reduce the travel time to 30 minutes. When I had not heard from anyone by 12:30 pm, I called the office (again!!) and spoke to Casey, who informed me the second truck was also having problems and he was not sure when the crew would be on the way. I asked why he didn’t call me to tell me this, and he said he only promised to call when the movers were leaving. He offered to send a 4-man crew over when they were done with another job nearby, but said he would only do so if he increased the rate BACK to $159/hr and charged me the full one hour of travel time. I asked to speak to his supervisor (John) but was told he was out of the office at the moment. I told him to send whichever crew would arrive first. The original movers finally arrived at 2:15 pm, 6 hours later than I was told. Although the movers worked well once they got there, I did not get moved in until after 7 pm. The delay caused me to miss visiting with an out-of-town relative whom I was supposed to meet with that afternoon. The supervisor John did call me back around 1:30 pm, and basically told me that “things happen”. Although he apologized for the delay, he seemed to feel that I should be HAPPY because I was getting a reduced rate on the move. However, that only amounted to a discount of around $100. Ultimately I still had to pay $819.50 for a move that I was wholly dissatisfied with. When I told him that approximately $100 was not worth 6 hours of my time and I did not feel like a satisfied customer (particularly since the movers had not arrived by this time), he said I would hopefully be happy after the move and that he could check in with me on Monday (5/19) if I wanted. I said that I would very much like that, as I was very displeased. However, as of today (5/22), I have not heard back from him. I can understand that sometimes mechanical failures happen, but it was the lack of communication and the feeling that my needs/satisfaction as a customer did not matter that truly upset me. For a service that cost me nearly a thousand dollars (with tip), I am hugely disappointed. I feel little effort was made to make me a happy customer, and as such, I will be telling everyone I know to avoid your services if they value their time and money.
