My overall experience this time was an utter disappointment. Chad gave me wrong information on the initial call and then when I was called this past saturday, everything we talked about hadn't been communicated. Then the price quote was incorrect, the no charge for an extra stop was incorrect. I felt that something has changed and your company has become very disorganized. Once I thought everything was settled on Saturday, the movers showed up on MOnday and still did not know I was stopping at two different places. On saturday due to the mix up the packing materials were to be free, again not communicated to the drivers. The drivers and helpers were fine, but I don't think the customer should be told that if they take care of them they will take care of you. A tip is optional and for an exceptional job and shouldn't be expected. I understand a twenty or so, but telling me they are normally tipped $50 - 100 per person. Do you know how uncomfortable that made me feel. I am disappointed with this move and can't believe I just spent $650 plus tip because I felt pressured. I think the guys the did a good job but just felt weird about the whole situation |

It was ok. It was nice having movers, however one of the movers seemed rude and condecending to my mother. Also, they were a little slow and did not seem very systematic. Overall ok experience. |

Overall, it was a good experience, but there were certainly a few bumps. I will probably be phoning tomorrow just to let your company know. These included the movers leaving without checking with me that everything was in there (they left two boxes behind). I was sitting in the apartment and they just left! They didn't tell me they were moving to the next apartment and after sitting there for 15 minutes thinking they were having trouble with my furniture, I went to the alley to find they had just left! I had to carry the two boxes and their sweatshirt/teeshirts myself and I think I lost 15-20 minutes because of this as they were just sitting at the new apartment waiting for me... except they forgot to tell me they were going there! |

As soon as I met our moving crew I knew we were in good hands.

Brian made clear, communication calls on the way to our prior residence. Each of the four gentlemen introduced themselves, shook our hands and were courteous throughout the experience. They hustled, took care in wrapping our furniture and then unwrapping and setting up our new home. Dennis had a friendly and funny personality and his people skills took away a lot of stress of the day. Matt and Ronny were young guys but they were absolutely professional, quick and polite. Brian was a clear leader. I could not have handpicked a better crew and I feel all four of these gentlemen are an asset to your organization. Should we have to move again I would ask specifically for this group of guys and will refer them by name/company for anyone who needs movers. Thank you again AMS for making one of the four most stressful things in life a lot easier. |
